OTUS – SHORT WAVE INFRARED CAMERA
The OTUS Ruby is a series of Military-Off-The-Shelf (MOTS) full-HD cameras with an integrated SWIR Sensor. Short Wave Infrared has longer wavelengths then visible to the human eye, hence can travel through mist, fog and smoke with larger particles.
Visibility in poor atmospheric conditions and vision through glass are just a few of the benefits offered by this camera. Typical applications for this new technology can be found in fire departments, police surveillance, border protection, security and defence.
Our OTUS Ruby is housed in a ruggedized, weatherproof, hermetically sealed enclosure to withstand extreme environmental conditions and shocks.
