Elbit Systems America and Nedinsco sign teaming agreement

Nedinsco B.V. (NEDINSCO), announces that it has signed a contract with Escribano Mechanical & Engineering S.L. (EM&E) for the supply of its unique, non-powered BACK-UP SIGHT for integration into the EM&E GUARDIAN 30 turret. EM&E is part of TESS DEFENCE S.A., the Spanish consortium building the Spanish Army’s VCR8x8 DRAGON wheeled combat vehicle.

The contract includes the delivery of 219 units of the unique NEDINSCO Back-Up Sight for integration into the EM&E GUARDIAN 30 turret. NEDINSCO will supply its field-proven, non-powered, rugged optical fiber-based BACK-UP SIGHT in a Single Field Of View version.
An important milestone
NEDINSCO is committed to continuing to work closely with EM&E to ensure successful integration of the BACK-UP SIGHT into the EM&E GUARDIAN 30 turret. “We are proud to be part of this prestigious and innovative Spanish MoD VCR 8×8 DRAGON program. The first series of vehicles of the VCR 8×8 DRAGON, intended to modernize the capabilities of the Spanish Army, is scheduled to be made available in the second half of 2022.
